I know you will hear people tell you that you should be the main character of your own story. And there’s room for that. There are times it’s important to prioritize your story. But don’t forget that the world is bigger than you. There are times when it’s important to focus on your role as a supporting character. And don’t get caught up in thinking you’re the hero all the time. You will play countless roles throughout your life - sidekick, love interest, villain, and confidant - and all of them will bring meaning to your story. And this is not only true of you - this is true of everyone you encounter. There is a rich tapestry of a story in it all. We weave in and out of each others’ lives. Sometimes we leave things brighter. Other times we leave things darker. We always leave a mark, so take care with each person you encounter.
